Turnover, income and time worked

A racing receipt is not the amount available at the end of the month. Your calculation must start from actual collections, then integrate the costs and obligations of your activity. A platform's conditions and possible deductions should be checked on your contract and statements.

Calculation lineWhat to record
Revenue receivedPayments and rides collected, separated by platform or direct customer base.
Platform feesAmounts shown on your statements or applicable terms, without assuming a universal rate.
VehicleRent or financing, professional insurance, energy, maintenance, tires and parking.
StatusContributions, taxation and accounting according to your structure and your options.
Time spentHours of running, waiting, traveling and management necessary for the activity.

A formula that can be used every month

Estimated disposable income = revenue actually collected - platform costs observed - vehicle and operation - contributions and taxes to be expected. Estimated hourly income = disposable income / hours actually spent.

Do this calculation with your own readings rather than with a testimonial or advertising estimate. Two drivers using the same platform can obtain a very different result depending on the vehicle, city, schedule and their status.

Decisions that change profitability

Track revenue in VTC PRO

VTC PRO allows you to enter revenue by platform and estimate trips with your own price parameters per kilometer and per minute. The app doesn't guarantee income: it helps you keep your own numbers visible when making business decisions.

Frequently asked questions

Can we give a reliable average salary without knowing the vehicle?

No. The cost of the vehicle, energy, insurance and hours involved directly change the bottom line.

Why separate recipes by platform?

This allows you to compare what each channel really brings to your work period and avoid deciding on an impression.
